I have this thing for roadside signs. The ones that really get me are the vintage signs. They can be motels, stores, businesses or even gas stations. Sometimes, it is the shape of the sign that catches my eye. Other time is the font and the color used. Or simply the message on the sign is what inspires me. And some signs have it all, shape, font, color, message and a storied past. Once upon a time, they were catching the attention of drivers who were traveling along those highways. The businesses they advertise were thriving. Well, they still serve their purpose, even if I am the lone traveler they stop in her tracks.
